KVK Anjaw Inaugurated the m-app “Smart Kisan”
KrishiVigyan Kendra Anjaw has finally inaugurated their android based m-app named “Smart Kisan” from the gracious hand of Dr. B.P Bhatt, Director, ICAR RC for Eastern Region, Patna, Dr. B.C. Deka, Director, ATARI, Zone-III, ICAR and Dr. Bhattacharrjee, Director, Extension Education, Assam Agriculture University, Jorhat on 2nd August, 2016 at KVK Kamrup, Guwahati. During the event Dr. Manish Kanwat, Sr. Scientist & Head, KVK Anjaw briefed about the features and their characteristics of the technology. Dr. B.P Bhatt congratulated Dr. Manish Kanwat and his team for their initiative and also urged to all other KVKs to develop the same type of application for their district and facilitate the farmer of their respective district. Dr. Bhattacharrjee, Director, Extension Education, AA U, Jorhat also wishes to KVK Anjaw for their efforts and also informed that AAU, Jorhat is also trying to develop such type of software to provide the immediate advisory in collaboration with Cornell University, America. Dr. B.C. Deka, chairman of the occasion also blessed and wishes to KVK Anjaw and asked everyone to adopt such type of innovative ideas to create a better awareness among the farming community in the region.
